China Research Society of Urban Development (CRSUD), directly-under Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is a national social institution centering on conducting research on urban economy, social and ecological development issues, and aiming at providing services for urban reform, opening-up, constructionand management.
Since the Department of Research and Consultation (DORAC)’s establishment,
under the leadership of CRSUD, DORAC has actively conducted hot issues about
urban development, especially in promoting urban academic exchanges between
China and foreign countries, drawing upon advanced experience of urbanization of
foreign countries and has earned praise from all walks of life domestically and from
cities of other countries. Besides, DORAC has also established long-term and friendly
cooperative relationship with many institutions from home and abroad, industry
associations, and famed corporations together with famous universities. Thus it has
laid solid foundation for further providing better service for the membership cities. |

We under the leadership of Chinese Academy and Social Sciences (CASS), a national think tank. Some central leaders take some important posts in our web. Now we have 483 member cities.
Depending on the strong resources advantage of CASS, we can provide service to foreign customers, such as data survey, statistic and selecting of foreign advanced low-carbon technology. Meanwhile, we can bring in the foreign excellent ecological communities, ecological technologies, designing of ecological urban circle and construction & management group to China. Besides, we can conduct international exchanges & co-operations. Some relevant persons and excellent enterprises from Chinese cities can be organized to investigate and study abroad. |
